The city of Chula Vista will dispose of Hazardous Waste in foreclosed residential properties for FREE
REO Agents make sure that your contractor is taking advantage of this FREE city benefit and help keep our community safe and clean. If materials like paint, solvents, etc. are found, they can be used for their
intended purpose at the home or elsewhere. This option is generally
much more cost-effective than disposing of the material as waste. However,
materials may not be accumulated or stored in lieu of disposal.*

Schedule a FREE foreclosed property collection appointment. Call
(619) 397-6222 or (619) 691-5122. You will need to provide the name
of your business, address where the waste is located and amount that
needs collection. If you manage or own multiple properties that contain
hazardous waste simply request a collection and provide information for
each site. Waste cannot be combined from other properties. Only the
waste that was left at that particular site can be collected. A contractor
under contract with the City of Chula Vista will perform the pick up within
five working days.
