Budget and Finance Committee (meets monthly)

Prepares the Association’s annual budget and provides ongoing oversight throughout the year. Reviews membership changes as they pertain to income. Monitors the Association’s investments.
Bylaws Committee (meets as needed)
Mark Scott – 2010 Chair / Gail Winter – Staff Liaison
Reviews the Association’s Bylaws, rules and regulations to ensure compliance with applicable laws and, that they are in the best interest of the members.
Equal Opportunity Committee (meets as needed)
Armida Martin del Campo – 2010 Chair / Gail Winter – Staff Liaison
Promotes equal opportunity and overcoming housing discrimination through educational programs. Communicates changes in law and assists with implementation of the Voluntary Affirmative Marketing Agreement (VAMA).
Government Affairs Committee (meets monthly)
Mark Scott – 2010 Chair / Richard D’Ascoli – Staff Liaison
Communicates to, and represents members on local, state and national issues which affect the real estate industry and private property rights. Makes recommendations to IMPAC, BORPAC, CREPAC and the Board of Directors as appropriate. Promotes participation in the REALTOR® Action Fund
Grievance Committee (meets as needed)
Deana Hoffman – 2010 Chair / Gail Winder – Staff Liaison
Processes complaints and/or requests for disciplinary measures against members, in accordance with applicable CAR and NAR guidelines. Mandatory training and familiarity with relevant rules of conduct is required of all committee members.
Membership and Education Committee (meets monthly)
Sue Olivier – 2010 Chair / Pam Guyette – Staff Liaison
Promotes the benefits of Association membership. Reviews membership applications and makes appropriate recommendations. Responsible for the monthly membership meetings. Designs and develops programs to enhance member’s skills and leadership talents. Promotes and provides education to members through live seminars, workshops, brown bag luncheons and other means.
Professional Standards Committee (meets as needed)
Tom Money – 2010 Chair / Gail Winter – Staff Liaisons
Responsible for enforcement of the REALTORS® Code of Ethics and conducts Arbitration hearings, in accordance with applicable CAR and NAR guidelines. Mandatory training and familiarity with relevant rules of conduct is required of all committee members.
