Power of the Pitch

PSAR REALTOR® Member, Bernadette Somera believes in the POWER of the Pitch… here is what she said:

 “I believe in the power of PSAR’s Rally & Ride Pitch Sessions. For example last spring, I sold a home in the Chula Vista 91914 area where I farm. The agent who brought forward the buyer came from our Pitch Session, which is held at 9:00 a.m. every Wednesday at PSAR in Chula Vista. I "pre-pitched" the property the week before my clients (the sellers) listed their home. After the Rally & Ride meeting, an agent approached me to get the details about the listing because it fit her buyer’s criteria for a home. 

My sellers and I scheduled their home to be listed “live” on the MLS the following Monday as we needed to set the stage for the sale. Within one hour of me putting the listing in the MLS, the REALTOR® scheduled a showing.  The same morning, I met with a photographer at the property. However, my sellers informed me an agent already showed the home and mentioned her buyers will more likely place an offer. That same day, the same agent submitted a full price offer. A few hours later the sellers accepted the offer!

I always look forward to hosting an open house for my fellow agents and affiliates.  I appreciate the support when the agents come and provide their feedback, too. Pitch sessions and broker caravans are a great networking opportunity and relationships are created which in turn could be our next escrow. We never know where our next escrow will come from, but what I do know is there is "POWER TO PSAR'S PITCH SESSIONS." I believe the pitch sessions add the energy needed for all listings to create that positive marketing vibe which in turn ultimately gets sellers homes sold. I've been attending PSAR’s Rally & Ride Pitch Sessions for over a year now and encourage my fellow REALTORS® to do the same. If you are not participating in the Rally & Ride Pitch Sessions, I believe you may be missing out on a great opportunity for your sellers to reap the rewards of the highest and best offer. 

Don't you think our sellers deserve the most exposure? If you agree, you need to schedule your listing to be pitched at Wednesday's Rally & Ride! If not, you may be missing opportunity not only for your Seller but for your business, too.”
