As another added benefit to PSAR members seeking a competitive business advantage, PSAR is proud to announce the formation of the PSAR Global Real Estate Council. The PSAR board, at a recent meeting, voted to establish the Global Real Estate Council as part of PSAR's strategy to build professionalism and expertise among REALTORS® in San Diego.
The purpose of the new Global Real Estate Council is to assist the needs of PSAR members who desire to expand their international reach. The mission of the Council will be to provide PSAR members with the opportunity to learn and expand their niche market in real estate internationally. The vision of the Council will be to provide and facilitate educational opportunities to enable PSAR members expand their practice and organize global-themed events through various mechanisms.
Many PSAR members are currently serving international capital investment clients, while many others want to enhance their cross-border capabilities and assist savvy clients make informed transaction decisions to expand their real estate portfolios with efficient counsel across multiple jurisdictions.
So, watch for additional news in the future about the PSAR Global Real Estate Council. Planning is currently underway for future training sessions to enhance the knowledge of PSAR members on cultural customs and diversity, as well as panel discussions and coordinated forums, including Skype sessions, with NAR bilateral partners from across the planet. Also, the Council will be actively involved in promoting the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), an NAR designation that provides REALTORS® with the knowledge, a worldwide network and tools to globalize their business. CIPS members are the consumers' best and most trusted resource for navigating the international market.
